Jeff Mansfield owner of Master Builders & Restoration, Inc. has been in construction for over 27 years. He started his journey in 1984 at the age of 19 in Southern California as a framer and a sider for a residential development with over a 300 homes. After successfully completing this development he had caught the attention of some prominent builders that exclusively worked for high end cliental in the Malibu, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Hollywood areas. As a sub-contractor for these companies, Jeff had honed his skills as a Master Craftsman in fine finish carpentry and working with many famous Architects.
During this period in the late 1980's the economy was heading for a recession and Jeff was asked to participate in home renovation for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Federal Agencies to take part in renovating a large inventory and uprising of foreclosures. He received three homes a week and had deadlines to overturn and to put back on the real estate market for first time home buyers.
In the 1990's after a major earth quake in Los Angeles area, Jeff started working with Insurance companies for the rebuild of many damaged homes. At this time Jeff had witnessed firsthand how insurance companies had handled the claims and the disappointment of their clients. Jeff had decided that he wanted to work strictly for the homeowner in order to receive maximum allowance of their policy. Jeff wanted to ensure that the homeowner was getting quality materials and craftsman ship, to put their home back together in a timely matter to its original state.
Since that time Jeff has been involved in several disasters including hurricane Iniki off the island of Kauai in Hawaii. That included 2 years of rebuilding after massive destruction from wind and water.
In the late 1990's Jeff moved back to the mainland and focused on his company's ability to perform major remodeling and reconstruction of fire and water damaged homes. At that time mold was becoming (in the EPA's eyes) a environmental issue, So Jeff decided to make mold remediation part of his companies services after extensive training and process of mold and remediation. During the next 5 years continuing success in the greater Los Angeles area.
My Vacations to Oregon had found me the love of my life, Kellie who became my wife in 2006, and Business partner here in Oregon.
Our Company in Oregon was established in 2005 as sole proprietor, but became a corporation in Oregon and Washington in 2006.
What makes our company stand out from the others is all of our multiple experiences and craftsmanship in all these phases of construction.
Our greatest achievement is opening this business 27 years ago and experiencing all the wonderful people throughout this journey and building and satisfying so many clients needs. To see the end of each project and happy clients is a rewarding achievement.

The remodel itself is quality workmanship. We are so happy with our new kitchen, and we fully intend to call Master Builders in the fall when we plan to remodel our master bathroom. We are happy to share our experience with anyone wishing a referral.."
